Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities to residents
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning for comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
