Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Local Contract
Location: Santa Fe, NM
Start Date: 08-03-2026
End Date: 11-01-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts with 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities to residents
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning for comfort and safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
- Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
