Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring for patients with MI, HF, and arrhythmias
• Administer cardiac drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, dobutamine, and insulin
• Assist with cardiac caths, ablations, and cardioversions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and care plans
• Maintain and troubleshoot telemetry equipment and EMR documentation
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry or related cardiac medical unit
• Strong knowledge of cardiac medical procedures and drips
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible day or night shifts and occasional weekend coverage
