Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures by preparing the operating room and sterile field
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and functional
• Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in a hospital or surgical setting is a plus
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow sterile protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and handle high-stress situations
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
