Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room sterile field
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly
• Monitor and maintain inventory of sterile supplies
• Collaborate with nursing and surgical teams for optimal patient care

Qualifications

• Current Surgical Technician certification (CST) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, pediatric environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of sterile technique
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and able to anticipate surgeon needs
