Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (36 hours per week, flexible with weekend and holiday coverage)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality nursing care across multiple units, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Float across specialties such as Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to patient changes
Administer medications and titrate IV drips, including heparin
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Support patients during critical moments and provide emotional support

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of MS‑Tele experience within the last 3 years
Preferred prior neuro experience and familiarity with Alaris and EPIC systems
Ability to float within a 60‑mile radius and adapt to various unit settings
Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Telemetry monitoring

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS protocols
Alaris infusion pump management
EPIC electronic health records
Patient assessment and acuity determination
IV therapy and medication administration
Critical care basics
Interdisciplinary collaboration
Documentation accuracy
