Physical Therapist - ICU
Location: Redwood City, California
Start Date: 06-18-2026
End Date: 09-17-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with a day off during the week when working a weekend shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in ICU and other units
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Work with ventilated patients and those with complex medical needs
- Participate in departmental activities and contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- At least 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy
- Experience working with orthopedic and total joint patients
- Experience with ventilated patients in ICU
Education
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy techniques and interventions
- ICU and acute care settings
- Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
- Ventilator management and therapy
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) - Cerner
