Location: Bakersfield, CA
Start Date: 06-18-2026
End Date: 09-17-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM one day a week. One weekend every third weekend, with Monday and Friday off those weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide acute inpatient physical therapy services to a diverse patient population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in hospital orientation and department-specific training
Qualifications
- Current California Physical Therapy license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
- Ability to work 40 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling
Education
- Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or PT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
- Medical terminology and understanding of various medical conditions
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
