Shift Type: Night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, including 6 weekend days per schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to oncology and women’s surgical patients making a real difference in their lives
Monitor patient conditions closely ensuring safety and comfort around the clock
Administer treatments and medications with precision and empathy
Collaborate with a dedicated team of 4-6 RNs per shift to provide top-notch care
Assist with procedures like occasional pelvic exams echo and thoracentesis
Contribute to a healing environment on a 24-bed unit using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license absolutely required
BLS certification
2+ years of experience especially in oncology
Chemo certification preferred to hit the ground running
Team player attitude with willingness to learn and adapt

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong oncology nursing expertise
Oncology/women’s surgical experience
Familiarity with standard unit equipment and Cerner EMR
Patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 for focused quality care
