Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe residents continuously for changes in mental and physical well-being and report to supervisor
• Accurately receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments, document via computerized MARs/TARs
• Supervise LNAs and assign nursing staff consistent with scope of practice
• Perform wound care including wound vac management
• Admit, discharge, and transfer residents with complete documentation
• Communicate with residents' families to resolve concerns and provide updates
• Follow state and federal regulations for controlled medications and documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years current RN experience (within the last 6 months) - required
• Active New Hampshire RN license (must be active at submission)
• IV certification required (willing to obtain during onboarding if not certified)
• Willing to float to units where experienced
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no declinations accepted)
• Must live 50+ miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• Maintain active BLS certification (or obtain prior to start)

Knowledge & Skills

• IV certified and experienced in medication administration
• Proficient in wound care and wound vac management
• Knowledge of tube feeding and oxygen therapy
• Staff supervision and team collaboration
• Electronic Medical Records documentation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
