Bill Rate: $27.22 - $39.67 per hour, based on license

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in delivering clinical services including intake evaluations and direct treatment for adults and families
• Assess and document client needs using Person-Centered Planning principles
• Provide individual and group therapy
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel, and other support people
• Meet contractual requirements of funding sources and maintain state licensure
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations
• Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner
• Follow a professional code of ethics
• Coordinate effective discharge planning prior to case closure
• Complete 24 hours of training in adult mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse disorders

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• State of Michigan licensure in corresponding field
• Qualified Mental Health Professional credential (obtained within 120 days of hire)
• One year of experience (including fieldwork/internship) treating or working with people diagnosed with mental illness
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
• Cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Ability to engage and maintain therapeutic relationships with youth and families
• Willingness to be flexible and collaborate with others
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S.
