Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during patient exams and procedures, ensuring comfort and efficiency
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions with precision
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Support a positive, welcoming atmosphere for patients and families

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent preferred
• X-ray certification and current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience in orthodontic or dental setting is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in orthodontic instruments and procedures
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
