Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for pediatric surgeries, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and monitoring patient status
• Monitor patient vitals throughout surgery and recovery, providing immediate care as needed
• Provide compassionate post-operative care to pediatric patients and their families
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient environment
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and surgical asepsis

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of operating room experience preferred, but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• Pediatric experience is a plus
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Compassionate care for pediatric patients and families
