Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM days with call: Weeknights Mon-Fri 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days, Weekend call Friday 3:00 PM - Monday 6:30 AM (3rd weekend, every other, or full weekend options), Holidays call only rotating with staff

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care in a bustling 8-suite OR handling 5-30 cases daily from general surgeries to advanced robotics
• Collaborate seamlessly with a tight-knit team on everything from choles and hernia repairs to GYN procedures and total joints
• Respond swiftly to on-call needs within 30 minutes, tackling ortho, ENT, GI scopes, and occasional trauma cases
• Master the Surgical Information Systems EMR similar to Cerner for smooth documentation
• Float as needed to the Bryan campus to support high-quality patient outcomes across facilities

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of solid OR experience
• Hands-on experience with all OR cases including robotics DaVinci Xi
• Previous travel experience to hit the ground running
• BLS certification required
• Trauma experience is a fantastic plus for those on-call moments

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in diverse surgical cases including general, GYN, ortho, ENT, GI, and robotics
• Quick learner on SIS EMR akin to Cerner or Epic
• Team player ready for a smaller unit with strong teamwork vibes
• Reliable for call with minimal call-outs encouraged
