Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Neuro Tele unit
Interpret EKGs and titrate medications such as Heparin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
Participate in bedside report and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Maintain sterile field and perform skills such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience a plus
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and SIMs Lab skills

Education

Current RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation
Titration of medications
Central monitoring
Cerner EMR
