Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient

Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 05-24-2026

End Date: 08-23-2026

Shift Type: Mostly Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional one day a week 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, plus one weekend every third weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to acute inpatient patients
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs
Document patient progress and treatment outcomes

Qualifications

Current CA PT license
BLS certification
Acute Inpatient PT experience required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Education

Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in Acute Inpatient PT
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnostic procedures
