Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments with precision and care
• Document patient histories, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Respond quickly and calmly to life-threatening situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Emergency room or critical care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and prioritization skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and triage systems
• Proficiency in IV insertion, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
• Comfort with electronic health records (EHR) and charting
