Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and respectful care to patients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring patient rooms are tidy and supplies are stocked
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation
- Empathy and cultural sensitivity when interacting with patients and families
