Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Triage patients quickly and efficiently, prioritizing care based on acuity
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver timely interventions
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform emergency procedures as needed
• Monitor patient conditions and document assessments accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps
• Maintain a calm, reassuring presence during high-pressure situations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state (NLC)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred based on facility policy
• Previous emergency department or critical care experience is a plus
• Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills with the ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment

• Emergency nursing principles and best practices

• Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• IV insertion and medication administration
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
