Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in delivering personalized treatment plans that help patients regain strength and independence
- Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and functional activities tailored to their recovery goals
- Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to the care team
- Educate patients and their families on safe movement techniques and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with a collaborative rehabilitation team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
- Inspire and motivate patients on their healing journey every step of the way
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in California
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus, but new grads are welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and a genuinely caring approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a rehab team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, gait training, and balance interventions
- Skill in documenting patient progress in electronic medical records
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to individual patient needs and goals
- Understanding of rehabilitation regulations in skilled nursing settings
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust and encourage patients
- Time management and problem-solving abilities for a dynamic environment
