Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care setting to understand their unique needs
Develop personalized care plans that drive real recovery
Apply specialized techniques to improve mobility and function
Coordinate therapeutic care across a collaborative rehab team
Communicate progress effectively with patients, families, and staff
Navigate single-patient rooms using advanced lifting equipment for safe, effective treatment

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy
BLS certification
At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundation in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary rehab
Experience with acute care procedures and patient lifting equipment
Comfortable working independently across units in a 735-bed hospital
Proficiency in Cerner Power Chart documentation
