Shift Type: 7 days a week, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing physician orders
Prepare intravenous solutions using sterile technique
Refer completed drug orders to pharmacists for checking
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Answer telephone calls and triage
Pre-pack medications as unit dosed items
Remove outdated medications from stock
Perform daily stocking and filling of pharmacy shelves

Qualifications

Valid certificate of registration as a registered pharmacy technician in Hawaii
2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Pharmacy operations
Medication management
Sterile technique
Communication
Time management
Attention to detail
