Location: Salida, CO

Start Date: 06-01-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts (pharmacy in Salida: 8 am - 7 pm, pharmacy in Westcliffe: 9 am - 6 pm)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system
Ensure regulatory requirements are met before processing prescriptions
Prioritize prescriptions based on importance and urgency
Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of retail pharmacy experience
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required for Colorado
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required for Colorado

Knowledge & Skills

Prescription processing and regulatory requirements
Pharmacy calculations and drug knowledge
Inventory management and control
Effective communication and customer service skills
