Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for adult patients with cardiac med/surg, stroke, sepsis, and renal issues
• Titrate critical drips like Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, and Amiodarone with confidence
• Interpret tele strips and manage high flow oxygen setups
• Insert and maintain arterial lines while prioritizing patient safety
• Collaborate with charge nurses, techs, and RTs to deliver exceptional care
• Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed, adapting to PCU-level acuity
• Champion patient experience through responsive communication and a welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Competence in arterial lines and titrating drips
• Flexible team player eager to learn and adapt
• Strong communication skills for diverse patient populations including Hispanic and Somalian communities

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Tele strip interpretation and high flow nasal cannula management
• Drip titration for common meds like insulin and Cardizem
• Patient care in vascular, cancer, dialysis, and post-procedure settings
• Good adaptability, feedback receptiveness, and teamwork
