Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical MRI procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Independently operate MRI equipment under limited supervision, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
• Apply comprehensive MRI safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative in performing complex scans and patient assessments.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional consultative radiology services.
• Maintain quality control standards and participate in continuous education and training.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Prior experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting.
• Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and MRI Registry.
• Current CPR certification.
• Venipuncture certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).
• At least two recent supervisory references available upon request.

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of MRI safety standards and protocols.
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and imaging software.
• Understanding of radiologic technology principles and patient positioning.
• Strong venipuncture skills for contrast media administration.
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments.
• Excellent patient communication and care skills.
