Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered nursing care that respects each individual's dignity
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor for side effects
• Perform thorough assessments and document residents' conditions to guide care decisions
• Collaborate with the care team to promote the best possible outcomes for every resident
• Respond quickly and effectively to resident needs and emergencies
• Educate and support residents and their families with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maine
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to assignment)
• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series or approved medical/religious exemption
• Valid state or federal issued photo ID for facility badging
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Safe and accurate medication administration
• Electronic health record (EHR) charting and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong infection control and safety awareness
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing resident needs and shift dynamics
