Shift Type: Shift 2 (evening), 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, every other weekend commitment

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff promptly
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
  • Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records
  • Support residents' emotional well-being with dignity and respect
  • Collaborate with the care team to deliver individualized care plans

Qualifications

  • Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in Vermont and/or New Hampshire
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must have reliable transportation (public transit is very limited in the area)
  • Completed COVID-19 vaccine or documented medical/religious exemption
  • Availability to work every other weekend
  • Ability to commit to a 9-week local contract assignment

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a care team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
  • Understanding of infection control practices
  • Time management and adaptability in a dynamic environment
