Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare intravenous admixtures and sterile drug products including antineoplastic and hazardous medications following USP standards
• Compound non-sterile medications and utilize closed system transfer devices to minimize exposure
• Maintain inventory, stock, and assist with record keeping under pharmacist supervision
• Process outpatient prescriptions, handle third-party claims, and support the call center as needed
• Ensure compliance with investigational protocols and maintain preparation records
• Perform other duties to support pharmacy operations and patient care

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with active certification
• Minimum 2 years of current Pharmacy Technician experience
• High proficiency in IV compounding and chemotherapy compounding required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment

• IV compounding and sterile product preparation
• Chemotherapy compounding and hazardous medication handling
• CPhT certification (NCCT not accepted)
• BLS certification
• Closed system transfer device proficiency
• Computer systems and pharmacy software
