Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for the next patient
Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and oral hygiene education
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure equipment is in working order

Qualifications

Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Maryland
Active CPR/BLS certification
At least 6 months of experience in a dental office setting preferred
Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Excellent chairside manner and patient communication skills
Proficiency in taking and mounting dental radiographs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
