Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assist with daily living activities
- Perform vital signs monitoring and report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Support safe patient transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient experiences
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (Certification in Georgia preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Reliable attendance and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
- Patient safety, infection control, and safe transfer techniques
- Charting and clear communication with nursing staff
- Empathy, patience, and teamwork in fast-paced environments
