Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, hands-on care that makes a real difference in residents' daily lives
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents comfortable and steady
• Keep accurate, timely documentation so the whole care team stays in the loop
• Brighten someone's day with a kind word, a warm smile, and genuine companionship

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccination, or a documented religious and/or medical exemption from your employer
• State or federal issued identification and a photo badge worn at all times on site
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but new CNAs with a caring heart are welcome
• A dependable, team-first attitude and a genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care fundamentals and patient safety awareness
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control practices and proper hand hygiene
• Clear, kind communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Solid time management skills for juggling multiple residents with grace
• Attention to detail in charting and reporting changes in condition
