Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and report vital signs, changes in condition, and resident concerns to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and hydration, documenting intake as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and team members
• Collaborate with nurses and caregivers to deliver personalized, dignified care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable team player
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care protocols and infection control practices
• Skill in using electronic health records or charting systems
• Ability to respond calmly in emergencies
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident privacy rights
• Strong teamwork and adaptability
