Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in a rehab setting
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
• Document care provided accurately and timely
• Support infection control and safety protocols to keep residents safe
• Build meaningful relationships and brighten residents' days

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Completed COVID-19 vaccine series or documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to provide state or federal issued ID for facility badging
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is a plus
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to document care using electronic health records
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobilizing patients
• Understanding of infection control and HIPAA compliance
• Patience and empathy when working with diverse residents
