Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and interpret dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs
• Familiarity with electronic health records and dental charting
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Patient education and oral health counseling skills
