Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding preventive dental care, including cleanings, polishings, and fluoride treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of lifelong dental health.
• Take and process dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Assist dentists during procedures and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a comfortable, anxiety-free experience for every patient.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver seamless, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license (or the ability to obtain one immediately)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Passion for patient education and compassionate care
• Ability to work the 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift
• Strong clinical skills and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a smile
