Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents in daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and safety
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the nursing team
• Accurately document care provided, vital signs, and intake and output
• Support residents at mealtimes, including feeding assistance as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS or CPR certification, or ability to obtain
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but not required
• A heart for serving others and a positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work flexible per-diem shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and families
• Compassion, patience, and empathy in all interactions
• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant techniques and infection control practices
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Physical stamina to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely
