Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
• Partner with nurses to observe and report changes in residents' conditions
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comforting environment for residents
• Encourage residents' independence while offering respectful support
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
• Uphold infection prevention and safety standards

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Connecticut
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus, but new graduates are welcome
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required for patient care tasks

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant techniques and resident rights
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation
• Empathy and patience when caring for seniors or individuals with special needs
