Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and craft personalized treatment plans to empower clients
Deliver crisis intervention with compassion and quick thinking
Provide individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based therapies like CBT and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
Collaborate with primary care providers in a trauma-informed, person-centered approach
Maintain thorough clinical documentation to support seamless care
Offer screening follow-up, brief therapy, case management, and referrals as needed

Qualifications

Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work
One year of direct clinical experience with individuals, families, and groups
Active LMFT, LPC, LBHP, or LCSW license, or ability to obtain Alaska license within six months

Education

Master's degree in a human service related field including Psychology, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and counseling
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Cultural sensitivity and ability to connect with diverse groups
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Team collaboration and rapport-building expertise
