Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem shifts, 6-hour assignments available

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients
Monitor vital signs and recovery progress with precision
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists for seamless handoffs
Educate families on post-op care to ensure smooth recoveries
Champion patient safety and comfort in a specialized PACU setting

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington
Pediatric nursing experience, especially in PACU or recovery
BLS and PALS certifications
Compassionate approach to pediatric care
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced children's hospital

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-anesthesia recovery protocols
Strong assessment skills for pediatric patients
Knowledge of pediatric medications and interventions
Excellent communication with kids and families
Proficiency in electronic health records
