Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and older adult populations on a 32‑bed unit
- Administer acute medications including Heparin drips as ordered
- Monitor and assess trauma patients with a 1:5 nurse‑to‑patient ratio
- Utilize EPIC EMR to document care accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate skilled nursing and rehabilitation services
- Employ specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment
- Support telehealth initiatives and ensure seamless virtual patient interactions
Qualifications
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Experience in acute care, trauma, and geriatric nursing
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Demonstrated telehealth experience
- NICHE training preferred
