Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to achieve goals
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state PT license or the ability to obtain one quickly
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
• A passion for helping others and working as part of a team

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment expertise
• Patient assessment and individualized treatment planning
• Accurate and timely medical documentation
• Knowledge of state and federal PT regulations and facility guidelines
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and patient education skills
