Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans to meet patient goals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and exercises

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Speech Language Pathologist license
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in evaluating and treating a variety of speech and language disorders
• Knowledge of swallowing therapy and cognitive-communication rehabilitation
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management skills to handle a diverse caseload
