Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams, adjustments, and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take digital X-rays and dental impressions
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus
• X-ray certification required (Maryland state radiology permit)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Patient-focused service with a caring attitude
• Ability to work well within a collaborative team
• Proficient in digital dental records and software
