Respiratory Therapist
Location: Omaha, NE
Start Date: 05-25-2026
End Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every third weekend, nights every other weekend, and holidays rotating with permanent staff
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry
- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics
- Work effectively in a team environment with RTs, providers, and nursing staff
- Manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities
Qualifications
- Current BLS, ACLS, RRT or CRT certification
- 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Driver's license required
- Ability to work within a 50-mile radius of the hospital
Education
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Respiratory therapy skills, including ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management and adaptability skills
