Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in various settings
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage ventilators
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois or compact state
• Complete required competency testing and skills checklist
• Meet health requirements including vaccinations and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in respiratory therapy procedures and equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
