Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse medical-surgical/telemetry population
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, alerting the care team to any changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families on managing health conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation to support quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Previous experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing strongly preferred
• Ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of nursing assessments, care planning, and medication administration
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and telemetry monitoring systems
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Skilled at prioritizing care and managing multiple patients
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families
