Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate care plans
• Float between units to support team needs and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nevada or compact state (verified via Nursys)
• BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable
• Proof of MMR, Varicella vaccination or declination
• Must be able to float between units and work weekends as needed
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred but new grads welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable with electronic health records and documentation
