Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and exams to promote oral health
• Educate patients on proper dental hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Assist dentist during procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient experiences

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene License
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental software and digital charting
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Excellent patient education and chairside manner
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
