Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
• Support a positive and efficient office environment

Qualifications

• Orthodontic certification required
• Must be a certified dental assistant (CDA) or equivalent
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Experience with orthodontic procedures and equipment
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in chairside assisting for orthodontic treatments
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Comfortable using dental software for charting
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team setting
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
