Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Camden, ME
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (no fixed days), day shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (AP shift, 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition, documenting changes promptly
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
- Current COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
- Must present a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care practices
- Proficiency in medication administration and accurate documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Compassionate and professional bedside manner
