Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition, documenting changes promptly
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
• Current COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Must present a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care practices
• Proficiency in medication administration and accurate documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Compassionate and professional bedside manner
