Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse - Per Diem
Location: Camden, ME
Start Date: 08-10-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: August 10, 2026, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (day shift with 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and update care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a healthy environment
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption required
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a similar setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of nursing principles, standards, and best practices
- Medication administration and dosage calculation
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
- Patient assessment, care planning, and implementation
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Infection control and universal precautions
